Yeast infection cure time?

So I've been feeling irritations down there since about Friday and when I found out it was a yeast infection I started treating it Sunday. I've used Miconazole 7 cream externally twice a day then internally at night. I've worn loose cotton underwear during the day then none when I go to sleep. I've stopped having sex and I've been taking a lot of vitamin C tablets. It's now Thursday and I still have the infection. I'm thinking about using the garlic trick when I'm out of the cream. So how long does it take for this to go away?
