I have a pain in my neck, I can't sleep at night?

Daily, all the time I have this pain at the back of my neck, internally. It feels like my neck is restless, I can't seem for it to go to sleep, if you know what I mean. I toss and turn from side to side hoping it will stop, but it does not, it causes me to lose so much sleep, what is wrong with me.
