I internally cracked my pandigital ereader 7" screen, now what happens?

I received a Pandigital Ereader (Black 7") for Christmas last year.I do not recommend this to anyone, don't let the box fool you. I dropped it (14" down) and the screen cracked internally. so the screen was off sequence totally, and that whole corner doesn't work, AT ALL. So I was unable to download any book samples ( I was never able to download and read full books, bought or free.) Today my whole screen froze for a few hours I left and came back, and the thing won't even back on. Is this what's supposed to happen? Has anyone experienced this before, if so please share your story, and inform me of what to do next. thanks.
