Bleeding internally in the head, what can doctors do?

my grandfather being 84 years old is in ICU at the moment because they think he had a minor stroke and have found alot of blood on the right side of his brain..... What procedures would a doctor do for this? can any one give me any information, i would highly appreciate it.
